We weren’t looking for it but there it was. A Spanish Colonial house from the 30’s which had once been moved on a flatbed truck from another lot in Willow Glen. It was in disrepair and begging to be seen and understood. Since it was situated on a large lot, so we could stay on one level. We could build a one-story rambling Spanish ranch with every modern amenity.

We could make it someone’s dream house.
And so it began. Just like love.

HERE’S A PEEK AT THE VISION

Because we are novices on Spanish home design, we turned to Jeff Doubet, Santa Barbara Home Design, to help us finesse the details of this house and create delight at every turn.
Here are some of his drawings.
